HOUSE OF CARNIVALE AT Luna Park

Baenziger Coles was engaged to assist Luna Park Melbourne with the development of a cafe and function space at the iconic Luna Park on the St Kilda foreshore. The development of the new food outlet - ‘The House of Carnivale’ - showcases a new two level building plus roof-top terrace to cater for the increased demand in food and beverage options within the precinct. The design is informed by the historic, yet vibrant nature of the park. Due to the significant community interest of the Park, there was a consultation process undertaken with stakeholder groups & council. The design had to adhere to various Development Plans and Heritage Overlays which were addressed for a smooth planning approval process. We worked closely with a local artist to integrate their imaginary theming to the façade of what has become another iconic and much loved building at Luna Park.
