Set within a sensitive historical precinct at Sovereign Hill, Ballarat, the design of the cafe presented a challenge for all stakeholders. The resulting contemporary architectural and environmentally sustainable response has provided a functional and welcoming food and beverage venue which can cater for up to one hundred and fifty seated patrons in a variety of defined spaces. The building sits humbly in the backdrop to the historical buildings surrounding.
