The design collaboration with Komeyui began in 2010 in Port Melbourne and in 2020 the Komeyui brand – a combination of tradition and modernity opened in South Melbourne. Komeyui Brisbane is an iteration of the brand that deftly combines materiality, scale and tradition into a restrained yet sophisticated backdrop upon which the dining experience is celebrated. The art of handmade Sushi takes center stage as patrons, sitting at eye level with their chef, are drawn into centuries of tradition and refinement while capturing views of the enviable lush green outdoor terrace.
